We should actually feel the grace of God moving in our lives before we can become effective in convincing our fellowmen to build and take part in the kingdom of God. There is a need for us to respond to God's call to each one of us to become channels of His blessings as His power is revealed in us. We should always seek the guidance and light of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Always check our motives and intentions in relation to what we do and see if we are bearing in us the fruits of the Holy Spirit (love, peace, joy, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self control) These things we can only achieve through fasting and prayer just like the 1st Christians during those times. We can all very well learn from their example and be like them, very good Christians that our God can really be proud of. Amen. Hallelujah!
Acts 11:21b-26; 13: 1-3
...While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, completing their fasting and prayer, they laid hands on them and sent them off.
Last night we attended a prayer meeting at San Lorenzo and heard the talk by Brod Pete. We had a very enlightening and inspiring evening because of the many good things we learned from it. The talk may be about making sense of suffering but I had this feeling of special joy and gladness in every person’s heart who attended it. This is exactly what today’s psalm tells us today, we ought to sing with all our hearts for the Lord no matter what our situations may be. Amen. Hallelujah!

Psalm 98:1. 2-3ab. 3cd-4. 5-6
R: The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.
...Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise. (R) 5 Sing praise to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and melodious song. 6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn sing joyfully before the King, the LORD.
Sis Mercy invited people to her house yesterday for the ninth day novena prayer for the repose of the soul of her son in law. As usual, she prepared and cooked food for her visitors. Everybody was satisfied to the full and was even able to take home some food. The food she prepared was multiplied and extended even to this day. God is good! Amen. Hallelujah!
Matthew 10:7-13 (or Matthew 5:20-26)
...Whatever town or village you enter, look for a worthy person in it, and stay there until you leave. 12 As you enter a house, wish it peace. 13 If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; if not, let your peace return to you.”
